With his transcendent, out of the box thinking, Bapi has spent almost three decades working in a myriad of advertising firms in places like India to countries like Dubai, Oman, Singapore and South Africa (Johannesburg). With many national and international awards like CANNEs, AAAI, EFFIE’s to his credit, he has managed to capture the attention of audiences worldwide. Since then, Bapi has traveled a long way from being a visualiser to a multi diverse international film maker.
          His Directorial debut began with a short film ‘Analogue’, which got him rave reviews at the New York Short Film Festival in 2009. Besides his advertising work, his pro-active experimental film for Cupid Condoms won him an award at UnCanne’s a national creative contest, which took him to Cannes in 2010. In 2018, his Tourism Oman film was awarded as the curtain raiser for the prestigious International Tourism Convention in Berlin, Germany. In 2020, he directed the cervical cancer awareness campaign ‘Faces of Hope’ for the American Cancer Society. He wrote ‘Zaffar, The last Turkesh,’ his first full-length feature which was rated as one of the three top scripts in the Sundance script writing contest in New Zealand.
         Bapi believes that as an artiste, he has the power to walk through the walls, travel the universe and finally create a world that he believes in.
